David joined MAF International in September 2017. Prior to that he served with MAF US, working for twenty-five years across the globe in multiple roles: pilot/mechanic, instructor pilot, Programme Manager, Regional Director, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, and Chief Operations Officer. He has also served on various advisory, governance and management boards and is a member of the board of PACTEC International, a Swiss NGO. David is deeply committed to live out his Christian faith to see lives changed by the love of Christ. He believes that the services MAF provides are a key enabler to bringing help, hope and healing to those who otherwise would be isolated.

Norman joined MAF International as the Chief Operations Officer in July 2020 with more than 25 years of international aviation experience. He previously served with Airbus as Senior Vice President, Digital Solutions, and with GE Aviation most recently as President and CEO for the Business & General Aviation turboprops engine business. Prior to GE, Norman was with Cessna Aircraft Company where he most recently led the Citation CJ4 program from concept to delivery. Norman is a licensed commercial pilot with type ratings, instructor pilot, and maintenance engineer.

Anna joined MAF International in 2013, and has served as Chief Finance Officer since January 2017. She thrives on using her skills to serve isolated communities through MAF. Anna spent her early years as a child to missionary doctors serving in Asia, and grew to share their passion to see Jesus’s love shared across our world. Following university, Anna trained as an accountant with Deloitte. She worked across blue chip, commercial and not-for-profit sectors in an audit and business advisory capacity, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales.

Bill has 30 years of experience in not-for-profit governance and management in Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. A former aviation lawyer and commercial aeroplane and helicopter pilot, Bill holds theological qualifications and a Masters in International and Community Development. As International Development Director, Bill is currently responsible for the development of MAF’s Asian resourcing capacity and institutional funding, and is Head of Legal Services.

Carel joined MAF International as Chief Human Resource Officer in April 2022. Following a successful corporate career in HR, Carel transitioned to work in the not-for-profit world. He previously held senior positions in several NGOs, including the Salvation Army in Australia. Carel holds a Masters of Human Resource Management, as well as a Diploma in Labour Law.

In July 2023, Douglas Ring assumed the role of Chief Information Officer at MAF International. He brings with him an impressive career spanning over three decades, deeply rooted in telecom, systems, networking, internet and IT. His journey within AT&T encompasses diverse roles, each marked by significant business and technology contributions. He is known for his innovative approach to problem solving and a focus on using automation as a force multiplier. His innovation at AT&T led to the development of the multi-persona service, AT&T Toggle, resulting in US Patents 8,699,413 and 9,119,058. Douglas earned an MBA from the University of Texas, Dallas, a BBM from LeTourneau University, and a Cyber Security Certificate from Champlain College. Douglas's expertise in technology aligns seamlessly with MAF's mission to serve isolated communities.
